The Neighborhood

La Brea is in west Los Angeles between downtown and Hollywood in the Fairfax district.

The area has a history of launching retailers. American Rag opened across the street from the property in 1984 and Stussy’s first west coast store opened here in 1992.
Celebrated sneaker geeks Undefeated opened here in 2002. They’re well known for their “Billboard Project”. This one was done by artist Barry McGee.
There are a number of popular restaurants in the area including Mario Batali’s Osteria Mozza & Pizzeria Mozza. Susan Feinger’s Street and James Beard nominee Providence.
Up the street towards Hollywood is Pink’s Hot Dogs, a Los Angeles institution. To the south is La Brea Bakery.
Fairfax has an eclectic mix of home accesories and furniture showrooms. Nearby favorites include 22 Bond St., Vioski and Plantation Home Decor.
Beverly Hills and Hollywood are just a short drive away. Hancock Park, one of L.A.’s most iconic neighborhoods, is adjacent to the property as is Park La Brea.
There are many other interesting retail and dining options nearby including Self Edge, Casestudy, Room Service, Rolling Greens, Library, Legion, James Perse Free City,Blackman Cruz, Tinga, Campanile, Milk and Hatfield’s
