La Brea

“La Brea,” an adaptive re-use development project on La Brea avenue between 1st and 2nd, features eleven buildings being transformed to host a complementary mix of retail, dining and creative offices.

	Architects from Long Beach based Studio One Eleven are restoring and modernizing the property.
	Each building’s unique characteristics including wood truss ceilings, exposed brick and steel beams are being highlighted.
	The site of an Edsel Automobile dealership in the 1950’s, the building was later headquarters to one of LA’s premier printing shops, Continental Graphics Corporation.
	Today the neighborhood hosts an eclectic mix of showrooms, galleries and retailers with long histories on La Brea avenue including American Rag, Undefeated, La Brea Bakery and Pink’s.
	We’re carefully curating the La Brea experience to build on this history.
	We’re inviting an eclectic mix of emerging regional and local retail and dining brands to put down roots.
