To Our Most Valued Shoppers:
As the Coronavirus continues to make headlines both here and abroad, our hearts go out to all those affected in our area and throughout the world. We know you’re receiving letters from airlines, stores and service providers, and we don’t want our message to be lost. We want you to truly know that we consider you a real part of the District La Brea family, and that we care about your health and safety above all else.
Like you, we are closely following the news and monitoring the virus’ impact on our community. Because we are real people who live and work in this community just as you do, we fully understand what worries you and we want to address that. Talking about the coronavirus and how to contain it is such an important topic for everyone to be having these days. With the rapid developments related to this virus and the concerns people everywhere share over its spread, it’s important that we all work together to prevent and eradicate it as quickly as possible.
To do that, we’ve increased our cleaning schedules throughout the center, concentrating extra attention on high-traffic areas. We are using top-grade, industry-approved disinfectants. In addition, we’ve instituted new training programs for the staff that work in and keep our common areas clean. Of course, we are also actively monitoring the threat the virus poses in our community, and we are closely following the safety and prevention protocols offered by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and our local public health officials.
In the meantime, some of our shops remain open for business and ready to serve you, taking every precaution possible to protect the health of you and your family, our employees and our tenants every step of the way.
Sincerely,
Michael Rosenzweig, General Manager
